Going to Home for Diwali Celebration

Going to Home for Diwali Celebration

Guruji's Diwali Message!

Diwali is lighting:
The lamp of love in one's heart;
The lamp of abundance in one's home;
The lamp of compassion to serve others;
The lamp of Knowledge to dispel darkness

Every lamp that you light is symbolic of a good quality. There are good qualities in every human being. Some have forbearance, some have love, strength, generosity; others have the ability to accept all as one' own, yet others have a scientific temperament that will uplift humanity; and others
have the ability to unite people from all religions. A latent talent is a lamp. When latent talents awaken, that is Diwali.

Don't be satisfied with simply lighting one lamp; light a thousand. Eg. If you are a good sevak, don't be satisfied only with that; light the lamp of wisdom in you. Acquire knowledge. If you are interested in acquiring knowledge, don't limit yourself only to that. Take an interest in the
creative arts, in dance, music etc.

Do you know why we do aarti? It is so that light of our life always rotates around the Divine.

Do you know why we burst crackers? We suppress many emotions within ourselves; cravings, aversions, hatred or too much attachment and we reach bursting point. When there are a lot of worries, people say, "I feel my head is going to burst." If there is a lot of sorrow, people say, "My heart is going to burst."

Knowing this experience, the ancient people said that when you see an explosion outside, you feel similar sensations within you as well. Along with the explosion, there is so much light. Similarly by lighting the crackers, when there is an explosion outside, you release the suppressed emotions and become hollow and empty. You become free and are able to celebrate the festival and distribute sweets. The darkness is dispelled, light has come into the house, and joy spreads. This is a festival of joy.

SURRENDER

Krishna tells ti Arjuna , " You are very Dear to me ", and then he tells Arjuna that he must surrender . Surrender begins with an assumption . You must assume that you are the most beloved of the Divine and then Surrender happens.

The choice is your Destiny . Krishna does not tell Arjuna in the beginning that he must Surrender .
First he say ," You are so Dear to me ," And then he tells him, " There is no other choice for you , You must surrender . Either you do it now, or you do it later,"
This is path of Love

Promise

If I had to promise you something, what would it be?

I can’t promise that you would always be comfortable…

Because comfort brings boredom and discomfort.

I can’t promise that all your desires will be fulfilled…

Because desires whether fulfilled or unfulfilled bring frustration.

I can’t promise that there will always be good times…

Because it is the tough times that make us appreciate joy.

I can’t promise that we will be rich or famous or powerful…

Because they can all be pathways to misery.

I can’t promise that we will always be together…

Because it is separation that makes togetherness so wonderful.

Yet if you are willing to walk with me,

If you are willing to value love over everything else ~

I promise that this will be the most rich and fulfilling life possible.

I promise your life will be an eternal celebration,

I promise you I will cherish you more than a king cherishes his crown,

And I shall love you more than a mother loves her newborn.

If you are willing to walk into my arms,

If you are willing to live in my heart,

You will find the one you have waited forever….

You will meet yourself in my arms…

I promise.

Dear God

Someone has written these beautiful words. Must read and try to understand the deep meaning of it.
They are like the Ten Commandments to follow in life all the time.

1] Prayer is not a "spare wheel" that you pull out when in trouble, but it is a "steering wheel" that directs the right path throughout.

2] So a Car's WINDSHIELD is so large & the Rear view Mirror is so small?
Because our PAST is not as important as our FUTURE. So, Look Ahead and Move on. Concentrate and focus ahead always.

3] Friendship is like a BOOK. It takes few seconds to burn, but it takes years to write.

4] All things in life are temporary. If going well, enjoy it, they will not last forever. If going wrong, don't worry, they can't last long either.

5] Old Friends are Gold! New Friends are Diamond! If you get a Diamond, don't forget the Gold! Because to hold a Diamond, you always need a Base of Gold!

6] Often when we lose hope and think this is the end, GOD smiles from above and says, "Relax, my child, it's just a bend, not the end!"

7] When GOD solves your problems, you have faith in HIS abilities; when GOD doesn't solve your problems HE has faith in your abilities.

8] A blind person asked St. Anthony: "Can there be anything worse than losing eye sight?"
He replied: "Yes, losing your vision!"

9] When you pray for others, God listens to you and blesses them, and sometimes, when you are safe and happy, remember that someone has prayed for you.

10] WORRYING does not take away tomorrow's TROUBLES, it takes away today’s PEACE.

God Bless everyone

Gurudev said that corruption begins when belonging ends. The solution is therefore, to feel one with humanity and be sensitive to the belonging we have with our society.

Guruji@Berlin ... I am so happy to be here in this city where walls come down between people , It is time walls come down between cultures and Civilizations .

Bhagya means that you get the fruit of your actions when it is supposed to come. Do seva, sadhana, satsang and bhagya will increase.

Q: Guruji, I am not a yogi but I want enlightenment. Is it possible?

A: Every child is a yogi. From the time we are born we have the innocence of a yogi. Whichever part of the world a child is from, they do yoga till the age of 3. Enthusiasm, joy is seen in every child and that is the sign of a yogi! You don't have to run away from your home to be a yogi. A yogi embraces and accepts everyone.

1) The intention of the doer
2) Upakaran - The resources available
3) Sankalpa - The mind should be made up to doing the action
4) Time - The correct time to do actions. if you don't do things at the right time, there is no point! Few things take time to show the result. If you plant a tree it won't give fruit in one day
5) Kripa, grace - Without God's grace it is not possible

Q: If I give my 100% and still don't get the result, what is the result?

A: Everything won't happen with your own 100% effort. There are five things that are needed...

Why should we do Seva?

How will you feel if you are asking for a lift and no one stops their car? Sa means Him, Seva means doing things like Him. God is not doing things expecting your thanks. If you tell thanks it is for your own joy. Similarly if people thank you or not, you still do seva, because you feel good doing it.

Bhagya means that you get the fruit of your actions when it is supposed to come.

Do seva, sadhana, satsang and bhagya will increase.

Guruji yesterday sathsang

What are the rules for attracting Goddess Lakshmi? What are the different kinds of wealth?

Inner cleanliness and outer cleanliness. Prosperity is not having a fat bank balance. If wealth has created weakness, sickness or conflict it is not wealth. Knowledge is wealth, health is wealth, valor is wealth. If you have confidence you can manage any situation, that is real wealth.

In Mood .........

Baligga Rocks :)

Sweet Memory .....Missing you alll

Divine Love :)

Ashram Satsang 28/01/11

Meditation will erase negative impressions. However meditation will NOT erase the positive impressions, because thats what you are... But Nirvana is not just getting rid of the negative impressions, but also getting rid of your attachment to the positive impressions.

So now how to do this?
First to get rid of negative impressions, bring in the positive ones.
Like to clean your body, you use soap. But then you have to clean out the soap as well. You cannot say i paid so much money for the soap i want to keep it on. Then it will also become dirt.

Recognising the stillness in activity. The Stillness is Our own Self. The entire universe is present in our own Self.
Freedom doesnt mean stopping action. It's doing action yet being a witness to it.

For Nirvana, first bring the positive karma to wash away the negative karmas.
Karma is the latent impressions in the consciousness which propels you to do action. And present action is that which will propel future actions.
The Universe is full of Karma.
And the skill is to live in karma, yet not be affected by it. This is Yoga.

Thursday, January 27, 2011

1)Q. Is spending time with You karmic? As in how much time we spend with You depends on past Karma?
A. Don't worry about past and past karma. Now be here. Engage yourself in Seva projects. Do your Sadhana and satsang. Then you will get what you want.

2)Everyone who gets angry and upset feels they are righteous. Stand up against injustice, not loosing your patience and perseverance. The right balance is having patience and perseverance.
Be willing to see the other person's point of view. You may feel someone did injustice to you, but they may not. So have the ability to see the other person's point of view.

3)Q. How do i know you love me unconditionally?
A. Events will show you the unconditionality of my love for you ...

4)Q. Even Arjun had so much moha (illusion). krishna still granted him liberation. Guruji you are Krishna, when are you going to help us cross this ocean of illusion?
A. I am waiting for you, when are you going to jump in?!

“India Against Corruption”

Shri Shri RaviShankar ji is very concerned about the rampant corruption in the country today. As members of The Art of Living, He wants each one of us to be proactive and raise our voices against it.

A nation wide movement called “India Against Corruption” has been started by Guruji, Swami Ramdev, Swami Agnivesh, Most Reverend Vincent M Concessao Archbishop of Delhi, Kiran Bedi, Arvind Kejriwal, Anna Hazare, Devinder Sharma, Sunita Godara, Mallika Sarabhai and many others to persuade government to enact the Anti-Corruption Bill.

These eminent personalities have decided to lead a march from Ramlila Groundsto Jantar Mantar on 30th January, the day Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated, at1 pm to demand enactment of a law to set up an effective anti‐corruption body called Lokpal at the Centre and Lokayukta in each state (the existing Lokayukta Acts are weak and ineffective).

Lets all be there and make sure everyone we know is present too.

Wednesday, January 26, 2011

For the first time in the history of mankind ‘Need’, ‘Comfort’ and ‘Luxury’ are sold at the same price in India!
Onions Rs.65, Petrol Rs.65 and Beer Rs.65

Congress Rocks!! People shocks!

Against Corruption

Join us for India Against Corruption on 30th January at 1pm at Ramlila Maidan Delhi.......
In the end, Guruji was asked whats the difference between Meditation and Prayer...
He replied, Prayer is asking God for something, Meditation is Listening to God. Before Prayer, meditate. After Prayer, also meditate. Prayer should be sandwiched between Meditation.
More later...

The Art of Meditation:
Meditation is the way to take the mind from a state of chaos to a state of peace. We are bombarded with many impressions the entire day... Meditation allows you to remove unhealthy impressions from the mind.

In the middle ages, meditation was made out of bounds for the common man, because it makes an individual very powerful. But we have opened the flood gates, because we believe that the Knowledge of meditation is the birth right of every human being.
